What does the legal fee include?

1. Unlimited Inquiries for the Petition: An attorney-client relationship arises when we receive your signed Retainer Agreement and payment and lasts until the case is closed. We prepare your case promptly, thoroughly, and professionally. As your lawyer, we will:
   1. Follow the contract timeline strictly: because we set our own timeline for preparing your petition, you can be assured that nothing will be delayed on our side. We are always prompt, efficient, and focused.
   2. Answer your questions about your case promptly: in most cases, expect a response to your I-140 case preparation inquiries within 24 business hours.
   3. Be available by phone to discuss your case: our attorneys can discuss your case by phone with 24 hours' notice.
2. Discussing Potential Recommenders: We review our clients' proposed list of recommenders and advise which candidates best suit recommendation letters.
3. Drafting the Recommendation Letters: Unlike most law firms, which supply only templates, ask clients to draft their own recommendation letters, or charge extra for the service, Liu & Associates, P.C. drafts them for our clients. Strong letters require extensive USCIS petitioning experience and a deep understanding of USCIS regulations and preferences. We believe well-drafted letters are essential to a successful petition.
4. Drafting the Petition Letter: We analyze your credentials within our carefully designed petition structure and prepare your petition according to our winning strategies. You will receive the first draft of the petition letter within 10 business days after you provide all signed recommendation letters. If you want it revised, we revise the petition letter until you are satisfied.
5. Preparing and Filing the Petition Package: Once we receive all supporting evidence, we prepare exhibits and organize your documents according to USCIS regulations and preferences.
6. Responding to RFE (Request for Evidence) or NOID (Notice of Intent to Deny) Without Extra Charge: If USCIS issues an RFE or NOID, we notify our clients immediately and provide a response strategy aimed at securing approval. We prepare any additional documents required, including recommendation letters, testimonial letters, and/or a Citation Impact Analysis Report. We respond promptly and never miss the deadline.
7. In the Case of Denial, Your Choice of Full Refund or Free Re-filing: I-140 approval lies within the adjudicating officer's discretion, and officers do not all adjudicate alike. If you use our "approval or refund" service and your petition is denied, you may take a full refund immediately or have us re-file at NO extra charge. If the re-filed case is denied again, the full-refund policy still applies and we refund your attorney fee.
